To minimize the frequency and cost of changeovers associated with heat degradation, Bernard offers the Quik Tip™ HD Series nozzles that feature a removable nozzle cone.
The Bernard S-Gun 250 amp MIG Gun includes a steel monocoil power cable designed with lightweight steel coils that offer an exceptional conduit for shielding gas flow and wire feeding. The coil can accommodate commonly used wire sizes .045 in to 1/16 in. The handle is constructed of a high-impact, glass-reinforced composite that can withstand rough workplace conditions, and is ergonomically designed to offer welding operators better comfort and control, even after extended use.

To minimize the frequency and cost of changeovers associated with heat degradation and routine wear, Bernard (Beecher, IL) offers the Quik Tip™ HD Series nozzles, featuring a removable nozzle cone. These nozzles offer an increased wall thickness and insulating material to help them withstand the heat of the welding arc for longer periods of time.

The removable nozzle cone lowers downtime and costs by allowing the welding operator to replace only this portion of the consumable — the most frequently damaged — without having to remove or replace the entire nozzle or the contact tip. It also simplifies and expedites spatter cleanup by providing greater access to the nozzle body for spatter removal.

Quik Tip HD Series nozzles are compatible with standard Quik Tip Series contact tips, gas diffusers and insulating caps. Quik Tip contact tips feature a threaded taper lock that increases tip life by providing excellent heat transfer and electrical conductivity, and they change over quickly. Welding operators simply twist the contact tip to remove and install it, allowing them to get back to the job in moments. The Quik Tip HD Series nozzles are designed for shipbuilding, trailer fabrication and other heavy equipment manufacturing operations.

To help eliminate downtime and costs associated with missing MIG gun necks – a common occurrence on some job sites – Bernard offers its Bernard™ S-Gun™ 250 amp MIG Gun that features a locked rotatable neck that cannot be easily removed by the welding operator, but is still easily serviceable by maintenance. By having the locked neck, companies can reduce time at shift starts looking for or replacing MIG gun necks, as well as minimize the need for additional neck purchases.

The Bernard S-Gun 250 amp MIG Gun is compatible with the Weld Cable Control (WCC) Systems from Miller Electric Mfg. Co. Together the two help optimize weld quality while also increasing productivity.

The Bernard S-Gun 250 amp MIG Gun is compatible with  Quik Tip™ Series Consumables, which provide excellent arc starting capabilities, reduce spatter and provide more consistent welds than many competitive consumables. The Quik Tip Series Consumables feature a threaded taper lock that increases contact tip life by providing excellent heat transfer and electrical conductivity, along with gas diffusers that have positive stops. These stops secure Quik Tip nozzles in a fixed position for superior repeatability and consistent, quality welds.
