After 34 years of service to Milacron, Bob McKee, president of CIMCOOL® Fluid Technology (Cincinnati, OH), has announced his intention to retire later this year. For the next several months, McKee will work closely with his successor, Jack Teat, to assure a seamless leadership transition for this global, legacy business.
When asked about his decision to retire, McKee commented, “For more than three decades, I have had the pleasure to work for an outstanding company with remarkable employees. As I begin this new and exciting chapter of my life, I leave with the confidence that my successor will continue to uphold the high standards and excellent service we provide to our customers.”
McKee joined Milacron in 1977 as a development engineer on the grinding wheel side of what then was known as the Products Division (grinding wheels & cutting fluids). He moved through a series of increasingly responsible managerial positions in product development, account service, operations, marketing and general management. In the early 1990s, McKee held senior management positions within the abrasives industry. He returned in 1995 as president of Talbot Holdings (tooling technology subsidiary) and advanced to president, CIMCOOL® Fluid Technology, a position he has held for the last 12 years for Milacron. McKee is a chemical engineer and also holds a MBA from Xavier University.
Teat joins Milacron from within the chemical industry where he most recently served as chief operating officer for Dover Chemical Corporation. He has more than 30 years of industry experience including 20 years at the former Great Lakes Chemical Company. Jack holds a BS in Chemistry from The University of North Carolina, a Masters in Management from Purdue University, and a MBA from Budapest University of Economic Science.
