Hypertherm, Inc. (Hanover, NH), a U.S.-based manufacturer of plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting systems, announced the launch of SPARK, a new blog designed to share best practices, answer questions, and help people overcome their cutting challenges. The blog is available now at www.hyperthermSPARK.com.

Content is based on work by various Hypertherm cutting experts, including the many Hypertherm engineers who spend countless hours perfecting cutting processes to help our customers do more with their systems.

“As a manufacturer of three different cutting solutions — plasma, laser, and waterjet — we are in a unique position to help fabricators, service centers, manufacturers, and others choose the ideal cutting method for a wide range of applications,” said Reese Madden, the director of North American marketing for Hypertherm.

The blog will cover topics such as how to select a cutting system, how to decide between the various cutting processes available today, the role software plays in today’s cutting processes and how to decide if your business can benefit from its use. In addition, the blog will expand upon the content found in Hypertherm’s quarterly SPARK eNewsletter.

Hypertherm designs and manufactures advanced cutting products for use in a variety of industries such as shipbuilding, manufacturing, and automotive repair. Its product line includes plasma, laser and waterjet cutting systems, in addition to CNC motion and height controls, CAM nesting software, and consumables.

Hypertherm systems are trusted for performance and reliability that result in increased productivity and profitability for hundreds of thousands of businesses. The New Hampshire based company’s reputation for cutting innovation dates back nearly 50 years to 1968, with Hypertherm’s invention of water injection plasma cutting. The 100 percent associate owned company, consistently named one of the best places to work in America, has more than 1,300 associates along with operations and partner representation worldwide.
