AT&F (Cleveland, OH), a recognized world leader in large scale welding and fabrication, has expanded its global services through the Port of Cleveland’s Europe Express service to Antwerp.
The new direct all-water service between Cleveland and Antwerp is a welcome addition to the service lines for European customers of AT&F products and services, because service direct from Cleveland is four days faster than from U.S. East Coast ports and at a lower cost.
“This regular service coincides with our export strategy to deliver, around the world, the large scale products and components for heavy industrial markets that have been the cornerstone of our business in the U.S. for decades. Access to direct ocean shipping allows us to deliver easily what once took special trucking and rail to deliver to East and West Coast ports prior to loading for overseas deliveries,” stated Michael Forde Ripich, the president of AT&F.
The Cleveland-Europe Express is the first and only regularly scheduled international container and break bulk service (80 ton) on the Great Lakes per the Port of Cleveland. “This is a big deal for our big capabilities,” Ripich concluded.
In the U.S., AT&F has built an outstanding corporate reputation providing custom steel manufacturing solutions to industries throughout the world. Quality and innovation have fueled its growth and helped to define the manufacturing group it is today.
AT&F is committed to customer success via specialized facilities and locations and nonpareil quality systems: ASME U, U2, S, N, NPT, NS, NA stamps, and ISO 2001; 2008 certified.
