Muller LCS (Chicago,IL), formerly ITW Muller, a leading manufacturer of load containment solutions, has announced the finalization of its acquisition by the Carlyle Group. The company will now operate as a stand-alone business under the Signode Industrial Group. Its products are sold around the world under the Muller brand as well as Yellow Jacket, Haloila, Mima, GaleWrap and two new additions, Lachenmeier and Lock n’ Pop.

“This announcement is more than a simple change in ownership. It’s the dawn of a more responsive and powerful organization,” says Joe Albert, the general manager of Muller. “We plan to make our organization even stronger because we’ll have the necessary scope, scale and capacity to support excellence in customer service, product development as well as carry out our plans for growth and innovation.”

In addition, Lock n’Pop and Lachenmeier North America will now be working closely with the Muller management team to provide customers with a broader range of load containment solutions and support. Muller will now offer Lock n’ Pop’s unique equipment and adhesives. In addition, the company will also market the Lachenmeier brand of stretch hooding equipment and related film in North America.

“We are thrilled to have Lock n’ Pop and Lachenmeier as part of our team and look forward to providing our customers with a truly one stop solution for all their load containment needs,” says Klear.

To further support customers and bring all its solutions together in one place, the company announced the launch of its new website, www.mullerlcs.com, which offers user-friendly navigation with easy access to the latest news, customer testimonials, products and services Muller offers. With a broad range of products, visitors to the site can search for the perfect solution by industry, brand or application.

“We continue to provide the widest range of products and services to properly secure loads,” says Michael Klear, the sales and marketing director of Muller. “We wanted to bring all our solutions together under one roof. This way it is easy for visitors to find exactly what they are looking for or simply learn more about the variety of packaging options available to them.”
