Lincoln Electric Names VP, Deputy General Counsel

The role of Jennifer Ansberry is extended to lead the company’s environmental, health and safety organization.

Jennifer Ansberry now develops and implements EH&S policies, programs and practices along with leading legal portions of global mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, corporate governance and other general corporate matters.

The Lincoln Electric Company (Cleveland, OH), a subsidiary of Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., has named Jennifer Ansberry, the vice president of the deputy general counsel. Her role as the deputy general counsel has been extended to include leadership of the company’s environmental, health and safety (EH&S) organization, which includes the development and implementation of EH&S policies, programs and practices.

This role is in addition to leading portions of the company’s legal function including global mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, corporate governance and other general corporate legal matters.

Prior to joining Lincoln Electric in 2004 as the deputy general counsel, Ansberry served as an associate at Thompson Hine LLP and at Keating, Muething & Klekamp LLP. She received her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati – College of Law and received a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Cincinnati. Additionally, Ms. Ansberry serves on the board of City Year Cleveland and the Avon Schools Educational Endowment Fund.
