Booth N-6285: Green Line oil mist separators from 3nine are equipped with a front and rear easy to see LED stripe, so that one can always be informed of its operational status. When the oil mist separator is running the LED stripe will shine green and when it is shut off it shines red. When the HEPA filter has around ten days of life left, the LED stripe will intermittently flash blue for three seconds and when the filter is only working with half its capacity, it will intermittently flash blue for ten seconds. Booth N-6789: CECOR Sump Sharks are high-suction sludge vacs that remove collected industrial fluids and solid waste from reservoirs in mere minutes during various commercial, industrial and metalworking processes. No more grueling shoveling and time-consuming, manual cleaning of dirty sumps. Reduce the mess and clean tanks much more quickly, thoroughly and safely. Less machine downtime. Less labor costs. Less risk.

Booth E-5762: The MunchMan® II twin-steel belt conveyor from Jorgensen Conveyors employs a unique stacked conveyor arrangement at the lower curve and through the incline and chip discharge of the system. The primary and secondary belts run in opposite directions to grab hold of chips and securely carry them up steep inclines, eliminating the risk of conveyor jams caused by chip balls tumbling back down the conveyor. Booth E-5620: The CleanSweep-RM from Mayfran is ideal for conveying most types of chips and turnings with a compact design that will fit almost any machine tool and coolant tank. It is a reduced maintenance alternative to a basic hinge belt conveyor offering increased machine uptime and reduced coolant tank maintenance.
Booth E-5459: The mini Safety Laser Scanner from Tapeswitch makes for a versatile machine guarding device that handles simple area guarding up to complex configurations. Equipped with an easy to use beginner mode, a flexible configuration of the protection zone and warning zone, and a muting, reference boundary feature and disabled zone configurations, the Safety Laser Scanner meets Laser Class 1, Type 3, CAT 3 SIL2 PLd (ISO 13849-1, UL508, UL1998, IEC61508).
Booth E-5459: The new HE line of non-contact safety switches from Tapeswitch features the latest coded magnetic, fully encapsulated, solid state, single point switch options with built-in, dual color, LED status indication. Available in an ABS resin filled or stainless steel housing, in two sizes: HE1 (smaller switch) and HE2 (elongated switch), or the HE-D (Double Switch).
Booth E-5459: This main Programmable Control Unit (PCU/1) from Tapeswitch is modular and can accept a total of 14 expansion modules, creating a system that can have up to 128 inputs, 16 dual channel safety outputs, and 16 status outputs to handle your machine safety configurations, devices, and networks. An integrated PCU/1 main unit with PCUEU/1 expansion unit is also available for additional multiple failsafe devices.
Booth N-6790: The FZ17 System from Zebra Skimmers is ideal for removing tramp oils from machine tool coolant sumps while introducing oxygen back into the sump to slow down the process of establishing bacteria. The system is flexible enough to service everything from small machine tools up to large boring mills.

3nine has helped hundreds of companies, both small and large, all over the world in providing a cleaner and safer shop environment with 10,607 separators in place. 3nine separators have an eco-friendly focus that deliver the following operational benefits:

  • Recycle and reuse of virtually all the cutting fluids separated.
  • Major savings on the disposal of used filters.
  • Reduction of oily surfaces and the associated housekeeping.
  • Major reduction of bio-hazardous waste (used filters, water for clean-up, rags, etc.).
  • Reduced energy consumption because when the clean air is dispensed into the shop it doesn’t “foul” the heating and cooling units. In cooler climates, the warm vented air even allows for the reduction of heat needed in the shop, thereby saving energy dollars.

3nine is a Swedish technical development company with a unique core expertise in process air purification solutions and holds 105+ patents in the area of centrifugal separation of gases. The company was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Nacka Strand, Sweden. It has subsidiaries in the U.S., Germany and China and is represented by its own direct sales teams in Sweden, Germany, France, Finland, Norway, Switzerland and Austria. Distributors and Independent Agents represent 3nine in the rest of Europe, Japan and North America. www.3nine.com

CLEAN DIRTY SUMPS FASTER, BETTER, CLEANER, SAFER
Clean sumps are extremely important to any manufacturing process for the integrity of a product being manufactured, which is where Sump Shark™ sump cleaners from CECOR® (Verona, WI) come into play in Booth N-6789. Our patented filter system separates the solids from fluids. In many applications, the recycled industrial fluids can then be returned to the reservoir for re-use. CECOR also offers an innovative discharge filter for additional second-stage filtering of industrial fluids. It easily couples to the Shark’s existing discharge port with no special tools needed. Better filtering means less fluid used; therefore less purchase and disposal costs (and more “green”).

CECOR will showcase the power of its Sump Sharks with live demonstrations of its air-operated and three-phase electric units. Stop by to see the Sharks in action and learn how you can save time and money with CECOR sump cleaners. The company offers a wide range of sump cleaner models, tank capacities, power sources, transport systems and filtering options to fit any need, ranging from small machine shops to large international operations. CECOR also provides a full line of parts and accessories to support its products like various suction nozzles to more thoroughly clean different sump surfaces, nooks and crannies.

In addition to showcasing its Sump Shark sump cleaners, CECOR will also feature its industrial carts and containers that are made of heavy-gauge steel with fully welded seams that don’t leak, melt, split or burn. Come by and “kick the tires” to see how tough they are while also being easy to move and dump. www.cecor.net

HANDLE HEAVY, DIFFICULT CHIP LOADS
The MunchMan®  hinged steel belt conveyor from Jorgensen Conveyors, Inc. (Mequon, WI), introduced at the 2012 IMTS show, was designed specifically to handle heavy chip loads with large stringy chips and balls of chips generated in milling and turning applications where high work piece stock removal rates exist. Now, after refining and improving on the design, the company now introduces the MunchMan® II in Booth E-5762. Starting with a sleek new look, design enhancements include:

  • Patent Pending design improvements to the drive system which allow just one gear motor to run both drive shafts.
  • New speed control functionality and a current overload sensor with JamManager™ programming safety device.
  • The conveyor track has been reworked to offer rapid customer design modification and more efficient fabrication.

The MunchMan® II can be designed to effectively fit into most of today’s CNC lathes and machining centers, and has little or no effect on the space required vs. traditional single belt chip conveyors. www.jorgensenconveyors.com/munchman
