Koma Precision Hires Regional Sales Manager
Daniel O’ Connor is the new South Central regional sales manager, covering Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Koma Precision, Inc. (East Windsor, CT) has announced that Daniel O’Connor is the new South Central regional sales manager. He will be covering the TX, LA, OK and AR states. This area was previously handled by Gary Agosti, who will now be focusing on the West / Western Canada territory.
“Dan brings a wealth of metal cutting experience to the table, with sixteen years in a job shop environment with roles as machinist, CNC programmer, QC manager and manufacturing engineer ” says Barry Agosti, the president of Koma Precision. “As part of our expansion, we are creating a new territory comprised of TX, LA, OK and AR to achieve higher market penetration. As a regional sales manager, Dan will be responsible for working closely with our customers, distributors. OEM groups and company sales and marketing staff members to help understand customer’s manufacturing needs and come up with solutions that best fits those needs. ”

He will be based in Sallas, TX, and looks forward to working with customers in his region.
O’Connor has been in the industry for almost two decades. In 1995, he joined Mori Seiki USA at its former corporate headquarters in Irving, TX, as an applications engineer specializing in machining centers, high-speed machining and process improvement for customers. The last three years there he functioned as the national training manager.
He comes from Lyndex-Nikken, where he was the Southwest regional manager, managing a five-state area selling a broad range of machine tool accessories.
