Marvel Mfg. Co. (Oshkosh, WI) has made some enhancements to our ever popular Vertical Tilt-Frame Band Saw, the 8-Mark-II. This vertical tilt-frame saw is receiving a facelift that includes a powder coated sheet metal and new paint color scheme. The blade drive will be upgraded from a 2 hp to a 5 hp motor and will be controlled with a variable frequency drive. The blade speed control dial will be moved from the side of the control station to the front.
The first machines will be available for shipment in January 2015. The 8-Mark-II is an all-mechanical, universal, metal cutting, band saw machine capable of making any conceivable straight or miter cut, 45 deg right and left. The capacity at 90 deg is 18 in x 22 in for the standard column.
Be sure to visit our booth #B-3711 at FABTECH 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 11-13 to see the new 8-Mark-II along with other Marvel Bandsaws and machines.
