Hartwig Adds Sales Engineer
Scott Hooter is the new sales engineer covering the Louisiana territory.

Hartwig Inc. (St. Louis, MO) is pleased to announce that Scott Hooter has joined the company as a sales engineer in the Louisiana territory. He has over 35 years manufacturing experience, primarily focusing in the machining industry.
“We are very excited to have Scott’s sales and engineering experience join our Houston team,” said Bret Settle, the Houston division president. “His professional sales skills combined with his extensive knowledge of the metalworking industry will be an excellent resource for both Hartwig and our customers.”
Previously, Hooter worked as a manufacturing engineer with GE Oil & Gas and also held successful sales and industrial engineering positions at Kennametal and Cameron Iron Works. Because he has both a sales and manufacturing background, Hooter has the unique ability to see things from his customer’s perspective. His vast knowledge and experience will provide his customers with an excellent technical consultant to help improve their production capabilities.
Louisiana is serviced and supported from Hartwig’s branch office in Houston. The staff of 28 is responsible for supporting the southern part of Texas and the state of Louisiana with industry leading products from Okuma, Hardinge, Bridgeport, SNK, Okamoto, and Hexagon Metrology.
