SigmaTEK Appoints New VP of Sales
Dan Jacobs assumes responsibility for growing the sales organization and community of users throughout North America and Latin America.

SigmaTEK Systems LLC (Cincinnati, OH), a leading authority on CAD/CAM nesting, material optimization, and manufacturing process automation, has announced the appointment of Dan Jacobs as the vice president of sales. He assumes responsibility for growing the company’s sales organization and community of users throughout North America and Latin America.
Jacobs brings more than 37 years of fabrication industry experience to the company. Most recently he managed industrial equipment sales and service organizations in the sheet metal fabrication industry. He is currently a member of the Fabricators and Manufacturing Association within the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the chairman of the Tube and Pipe Fabricators Council, and serves on the FMA Education council. In the past, Jacobs was the director of the FMA Board and served on the Board for educational and business councils and associations. Dan and his family reside in Mason, OH.

In other news, the company is honoring its veterans by joining with the Military Warriors Support Foundation’s “Homes 4 Heroes” program. The company is asking for support from the manufacturing community for a collective donation of $20,000 to the foundation. Reaching this goal will provide mortgage-free housing and financial mentorship to the family of a combat wounded veteran.
