Oberg Industries Selects HR Director

Oberg Industries (Freeport, PA), a full-service contract manufacturer of precision metal components, tooling and stamping assemblies, is pleased to announce that Joseph G. O’Brien has joined the company as their director of human resources. O’Brien is an accomplished human resources executive, has worked in a variety of HR leadership roles for more than 20 years. He will report to company president and chief executive officer David Bonvenuto.

O’Brien will guide and supervise the HR teams at the company’s U.S. manufacturing headquarters in Freeport and the facility in San Jose, Costa Rica. “Joe brings an absolute focus on the organizational development of our employees and a track record of strategic leadership in the human resources area,” said Bonvenuto. “We look forward to Joe’s leadership in building upon our successful apprenticeship and ongoing training development initiatives and leading our company to better serve our customer partners with our human capital.”

O’Brien most recently served as the vice president of human resources and facilities for Tollgrade Communications, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Gannon University (Erie, PA) and has SPHR and GPHR certifications through the HR Certification Institute.
