Osborn Acquires Herold Partco
Herold Partco manufacturing is being relocated into the Richmond, Indiana, plant of Osborn.

Osborn (Brooklyn Heights, OH), a leading supplier of industrial brushes, polishing compounds and buffs, has added the product lines from newly acquired Herold Partco Manufacturing, Inc. (Cleveland, OH). Parent company Jason Incorporated (Milwaukee, WI) announced the completed transaction to acquire the manufacturing assets and customer list from Cleveland-based Herold Partco as of March 25. Herold Partco products will now be manufactured and distributed by Osborn, a unit of Jason.
“This move is a great step in continuing to build our leadership in the North American market,” said Mark Johnson, the vice president of sales and marketing at Osborn. “The products coming under our brand will be excellent additions to our offerings, providing even more solutions to existing customers. Current Herold Partco customers will now benefit from the depth and breadth of our product lines, creating significant mutual gain.”
The acquisition was part of Jason’s growth strategy, expanding through acquiring companies that fit well within the existing companies and complement the current product lineup. “As part of our dedication to providing customers with best-in-class solutions, we are continuously looking for opportunities to expand our product offering,” said Florestan von Boxberg, the president of Jason Finishing Group. “In acquiring the manufacturing assets of Herold Partco, we broaden our catalog in the area of power brushes, thereby creating increased value for our current customers and those of Herold Partco, while further solidifying our market-leading position.”
Herold Partco manufacturing equipment will be relocated to Osborn’s plant in Richmond, IN, and production of Herold Partco products will resume. With a seamless transition, current customers will continue to receive the same quality products to which they are accustomed.
