Kitagawa NorthTech Expands Sales Force in Mexico

Fernando Dominguez is the new sales director in Mexico for chucks, jaw, cylinders, steady rests, custom-engineered services and other workholding solutions.

With over 26 years of direct metalworking and machine tool industry experience, Fernando Dominguez will provide customers a wide range of products and services in his new role as the sales director for the company in Mexico.

Kitagawa NorthTech Inc. (Schaumburg, IL), the leader in work holding products and custom engineered solutions and services is pleased to announce the appointment of Fernando Dominguez as the new sales director for the company in Mexico.

Dominguez will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities and developing OEM machine tool and machine shop customer relationships for the company. Furthermore, he will provide targeted products sales and consultative efforts to industries and markets such as aerospace, automotive, machine tool, metalworking, oil and gas and maquila industries.

Dominguez has over 26 years of extensive, direct metalworking and machine tool industry experience. He has served in various sales management and engineering capacities for machine tool OEMs, dealers and end-users including: Koma Precision Tools, Tsudakoma and Chrysler in Mexico and others. In addition, Fernando has helped machine tool and accessory companies launch new operations for sales, engineering support and distribution of their metalworking machinery products and services in Mexico.

In his new sales director role for Kitagawa NorthTech, Dominguez will provide customers a wide range of products and services to solve just about any workholding problem or requirement. Kitagawa NorthTech’s offers the broadest portfolio of workholding solutions and accessories available, including custom engineered solutions.

These unique custom engineering services from Kitagawa offer a consultative-based approach and solution for metalworking operations, which often far exceed the need for standard workholding solutions. They address key productivity and bottleneck issues that preclude many machine shops from maximizing profits, safety and productivity in their machining operations.

Fernando will be operating out of the company’s facility located Toluca, Edo. De Mexico. He is a local resident and native of Mexico and holds a bachelor-of-science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA. He has also served as a University professor at the Engineering University, U. A. E. M.
