The new facility includes a showroom of end-load fiber lasers for North America and houses a supply of parts and accessories.

Posted: June 4, 2015

Fabricators from throughout the area attended the grand opening and were impressed by a CY2DL3015 fiber laser effortlessly cutting sheet metal, 1 in steel plate, ¾ in aluminum and ¾ in stainless steel.
There were 16 dealers from throughout North America that spent a day and a half learning about the product line and touring the Technology Center. Three persons at center (in positions 5-7 from the left), are Cy-Laser America LLC management: Frank Vanin, area manager, Martina Campana, vice-president, and Federico Campana, president. To their left (position 4) is Massimo Denipoti, the president of Cy-Laser LLC.

Cy-Laser America LLC (Geneva, IL), a subsidiary of Cy-Laser Srl (Schio VI, Italy), has launched a new Technology Center in Sterling Heights, MI, with a grand opening that hosted dealers, customers and local dignitaries, and included demonstrations of a new line of end-load fiber lasers to North America.

Frank Vanin, the area manager for Cy-Laser America, and Massimo Denipoti, the president of Cy-Laser, welcomed guests and shared the company vision for serving and supporting users throughout North America from this new location. “Our near-term goal is to offer additional technical support for our fiber lasers already in the field, and to facilitate dealer demonstrations for prospective buyers,” stated Denipoti. “Shortly, this center will house a supply of parts and accessories, in addition to those already available in Geneva, IL, for the convenience of our customers.”

Prior to the grand opening, dealers from across the country gathered to meet top company management, learn about the product lines, and hear about future development plans. Consensus among the dealers present is that the products are on-target and fulfilling North America’s need for fiber lasers will be greatly improved with this new technology center and showroom. Management strongly encourages feedback and the dealers in attendance provided valuable guidance on user perceptions and the unique demands of the marketplace.

“Our company mission is Collaborative Customer Service,” said Vanin, speaking for the parent company. “Our investments in this building and these events are indicative of the value we place on doing business in North America. And we are also expanding overseas in Schio, to be ready to support our growing opportunities here.”
