Harbour Results, Inc. (HRI; Troy, MI)) a leading business and operational consultant firm for the manufacturing industry, has announced Tebis America, Inc. (Tebis, Munich, Germany) as an executive-level partner of its newest product offering, Harbour IQTM, a global source for performance benchmarking, trends, and financial and operational data for the tool and die industry. Partners and participants have access to relevant data and information that can be aggregated and queried into custom reports as well as manufacturing trend reports, white papers and various other technical reports. This software unlocks the key to never-before-seen data and information critical to manufacturers in developing a successful long-term business strategy while managing the day-to-day business.
In business for more than 30 years, Tebis is a leader in the CAD/CAM industry, providing solutions for the tool and die and mold industries. As an executive-level partner, they will provide design and manufacturing insights as well as white papers focused on industry trends.
“We’re excited about our partnership with them. This affiliation represents one more acceleration in our commitment to growth in North America,” said David Klotz, the president and chief executive officer of Tebis America. “We look forward to the opportunity to strengthen the tool and die industry by providing information and strategic advice.”
As the manufacturing industry continues to face challenges, including increased complexity, high/mix, low/volume production and cost constraints, tool and die and mold companies are increasingly looking for ways to streamline processes, reduce lead time and maintain profitability. The right CAD/CAM solution customized to a company’s specific needs can help suppliers meet their business objectives.
“They are a key solutions provider to the industry, and we welcome them,” said Laurie Harbour, the president and chief executive officer of HRI. “To be successful, it is critical that the tool and die industry optimize and harmonize its design and manufacturing processes. They offer experience and knowledge that will assist the industry in achieving this milestone.”
