New Managing Director at TRUMPF Limited
Annette Doyle will be responsible for all operations in the UK, including customer service, technical training, product sales, and applications.

Effective July 1 of this year, Annette Doyle will take on the role of managing director of TRUMPF Limited, the UK subsidiary of the TRUMPF Group, located in Luton, Bedfordshire. She succeeds Scott Simpson who will leave the company after more than 20 years to pursue his own individual projects.
Annette Doyle leaves her position at TRUMPF Inc. (Farmington, CT), where she most recently served as the assembly manager for TRUMPF machines produced in the U.S. The department manufactures 350 machines a year and her production planning and lean manufacturing initiatives enabled the company to increase production and quality goals during the economic recovery.
Prior to this position, she served as training manager. While at TRUMPF, Doyle has been recognized by The Manufacturing Institute, Deloitte, University of Phoenix, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers with a Woman in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Award for excellence and leadership in manufacturing.

Doyle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering, and a Master of Science in Technology Management. In her new role as a managing director, Doyle will be responsible for all company business operations in the United Kingdom including customer service, technical training, product sales, and applications. She reports directly to Gerhard Rübling, the executive vice president of the TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG and labor director, responsible for human resources, sales, and services.
