OMAX Names Sales Manager for Asia
William Wei will support distribution partners and serve waterjet customers throughout China and Taiwan.

OMAX Corporation (Kent, WA), a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced abrasive waterjet cutting technology, recently named William Wei as their new sales manager for Asia. Wei will support the company’s distribution partners and serve customers throughout China and Taiwan who rely on abrasive waterjet equipment for the fast, precise cutting of various materials, including exotic alloys, glass, rubber, stone and wood.
Wei brings more than 20 years of experience in international sales and marketing, as well as product marketing and business development for the electronic manufacturing and plumbing hardware industries. Most recently, he worked for Delta Faucet Company/Masco Corporation as their sales and marketing director over China. Additionally, his extensive experience working with manufacturers in the United States and Asia gives him the wherewithal to understand the unique regulations and requirements of these different markets.
Wei holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Northern Jiaotong University. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Illinois State University.
