BLM Group Appoints New President
Jeff Ahrstrom replaces Jim Rutt, who is retiring.

BLM Group USA (Wixom, MI), a global leader in the manufacture of tube processing equipment, has announced the appointment of Jeff Ahrstrom as their president and chief operating officer. The announcement was made by Jim Rutt, the retiring president and chief operating officer.
According to Rutt, “The appointment of a new president and chief operating officer was part of our overall corporate organizational plan established in July 2014. The announcement of Jeff fulfills one area of that plan. He will be a valuable asset to our organization and more particularly a valuable asset to our customers.”
“We are a leader in our field and I welcome the opportunity to take the company forward and continue the growth realized under Jim’s tutelage,” added Ahrstrom, who comes to the company with over 30 years experience in positions of within the machine tool industry. He was most recently the managing director of the Central Region with Ellison Technologies. Prior to that he held a variety of positions with Fives Machining Systems. Ahrstrom has a BS in Business Administration, an MBA and, shortly, will achieve a Doctorate in Business Administration.
