Allstate Can is an industry pioneer and leader in the development and manufacturing of steel packaging, metal containers and tin cans.

Allstate Can Corporation (Parsippany, NJ), an industry pioneer and leader in the development and manufacturing of steel packaging, metal containers and tin cans, has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Quality Management System. ISO 9001 is the international standard for Quality Management Systems and is the most widely used QMS standard.

ISO 9001:2008 is based on the “process approach” namely, implementing a chain of added value activities in the course of delivering a product. Certification to ISO 9001:2008 requires an accredited third party auditing organization to thoroughly review the company’s internal QMS processes, to ensure they are capable of consistently delivering products and services that meet customers’ needs and expectations. Allstate Can received its ISO 9001:2008 certification from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. (Troy, MI).

“It was a natural progression that we achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification, and as a strategic partner to our customers, it is only fitting that we help them save time and money by becoming officially certified. Following through on the certification process validates our firm commitment to a culture of excellence and dependably delivering the highest quality products and services to our customers,” said Richard Papera, the president of Allstate Can. “This requires a real dedication and strong customer focus throughout the organization.”

Allstate Can viewed the certification process as much more than compliance to a standard. “Customers want to be confident that they are doing business with an organization that can consistently meet or exceed their needs. Successfully completing the rigorous process required for ISO 9001:2008 certification is a clear promise of product quality and customer satisfaction,” concluded Leslie Wing, the director of marketing at Allstate Can Corporation.
