Ceratizit Acquires Majority of Cobra Carbide India
This is an opportunity for Ceratizit to increase their footprint in the Indian solid carbide cutting tools market.

Carbide specialist Ceratizit Group S.A. (Mamer, Luxembourg) announced that they have acquired 67 percent of the Indian manufacturer of solid carbide tools, Cobra Carbide India Pvt Ltd (Bengaluru, India).
“They give us an exceptional opportunity to increase our footprint in the solid carbide cutting tools market in India. Indeed, Ceratizit India Round Tool Solutions with Cobra will be in the top five Indian solid carbide tools players,” stated Jacques Lanners, the co-chairman of the Ceratizit Group executive board.
