WTE Hydraulic Chucks offer high radial accuracy and excellent vibration damping that guarantees improved surface quality on the part, with reduced microstructure cracking on the tool’s cutting edge and increased productivity. New Micro Universal Chucks are ideal for medical manufacturing, electronic device manufacturing, and mold making.

ERI America, Inc. (Lake Zurich, IL) is proud to introduce Precision Hydraulic Chucks from WTE Präzisionstechnik GmbH (WTE; Kempten, Germany). WTE is a unit of the MAPAL Group, known throughout Europe as a leader in fine boring tools, PCD tools, multi-blade reamers and high performance tool holding.

These High Performance Holders represent a highly advanced part of our hydraulic chuck program. Extreme temperature stability, super strong holding forces combined with excellent vibration damping, and high radial stiffness guarantee improved surface qualities on the workpiece in the practical use. Other outstanding characteristics are the solid construction, the sealed clamping system (maintenance free), and the positive cost savings due to reduced cutting times.

WTE Hydraulic Chucks offer high radial accuracy and excellent vibration damping. They are guaranteed to improved surface quality on the workpiece, with reduced microstructure cracking on the tool’s cutting edge and increased productivity. WTE manufactures standard Hydraulic Chucks with axial and radial adjustment in the most common shank forms. Utilizing our reducing sleeves or our hydraulic chuck extensions makes this clamping tool highly flexible as well.

New Micro Universal Chucks were developed specifically for high speed micro machining up to 60,000 rpm while delivering concentricity < 0.005 mm. Chucks offer a large clamping range from 0.2 mm to 6.4 mm with ultra precision and reliability. They are an excellent choice for medical manufacturing, electronic device manufacturing, and mold making.
