Hurco Companies, Inc. (Indianapolis, IN) has announced the promotions of Joe Braun to the vice president of marketing and product management, and Scott Camloh to national sales manager. The company also announced it has hired Cory Miller as the general manager of Hurco North America.
Braun has worked at the company since April 2009 but has been selling CNC machine tools since 1990 as the co-owner of Braun Machinery in Michigan. Prior to his current position as vice president, he was the manager of distributor development for Hurco North America from 2010 to 2013 and was promoted to general manager of Hurco North America in 2013.
In his role as vice president of marketing and product management, Braun will provide leadership and management of marketing and product planning activities worldwide. He will be responsible for positioning the company’s three machine tool brands (Hurco, Milltronics and Takumi) and overseeing product marketing activities, such as market and customer research, product launch management, sales training, and competitive analyses.
Camloh has been with the company since 2006 and served as the regional sales manager for the eastern United States. Prior to Hurco, he gained 25 years of experience in CNC project engineering, manufacturing production management, and machine tool sales. As the national sales manager, Camloh will be responsible for leading and guiding the North American sales team, supervising the regional sales managers, transaction management, and distributor training and development.
As the new general manager of Hurco North America, Miller returns to the company after accumulating ten years of leadership experience at various machine tool builders and accessory companies, most recently as general manager of Bucci Industries. During his previous tenure at Hurco, he held multiple management positions in sales, service, and applications. As general manager Miller will be responsible for all of the division’s operations.
