In Booth S-539, the Fladder Lock-it™ from Hansen & Hundebol Inc. (Atlanta, GA) is a unique and effectively self-locking system that provides a quick, effective and reliable connection between spindle and tool. Lock-it can be integrated into both new and existing machines and is available in many sizes, ready for quick mounting. Spindle with Lock-it means a simple and quick shift of tools, without using manual tools for mounting or dismounting. Shifting tools is easily done with two hands by simply turning and pulling/pushing.
Tools are centered optimally in a 3-point fixation, securing a balanced and precise fixation. The tool is fixed effectively in the full length of the spindle by using three rubber bands that press radially to maximize the fixation to a secure solution. The system provides these advantages:
- Easier mounting of the hub.
- The hub is turned onto the spindle.
- The rubber bands slide into grooves in the outer surface of the spindle.
- When the hub is in the desired axial position, make a short counter-clockwise turn.
- The rubber bands are forced up to lock the hub.
