The shop's investment in Zetec phased array UT inspection technology supports their contracted structural composite fabrication of components for a Tier One supplier of composite-intensive commercial aircraft.

Royal Engineered Composites, Inc. (Minden, NE) is the first North American aerospace composites company to add “time reversal” technology to their nondestructive inspection capabilities. This “time reversal” technology, as it is called by Zetec, Inc. (Snoqualmie, WA), utilizes a unique phase array ultrasonic technology to vastly improve efficiency and flexibility for inspection solutions.
