In Booth S-3340, Hypertherm Inc. (Hanover, NH), a U.S.-based manufacturer of plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting systems, plans to unveil several new products and continue its focus on helping attendees choose from among the various cutting processes and automated offerings that are available today. New products include a system designed to significantly reduce waterjet operating costs by delivering marked labor and consumable savings for shops operating waterjet machines. The company will also preview new technology designed to simplify CNC and robotic cutting through the automatic inclusion of process parameters in support of a wide range of applications. This new technology will be showcased on a new line-up of Hypertherm CNCs that will also be unveiled at the show.
Two more products making their debut at the show are designed to support cutting and gouging in out-of-the-way locations. The Freedom 38 PPA is a completely autonomous, all-in-one unit that combines a powerful 125 amp plasma system with a generator and air compressor for cutting in areas without access to electricity. The Powermax30 AIR features a 30 amp plasma system and air compressor in one compact unit for ultimate portability. “Today’s rapid evolution of cutting technology and automated intelligence means job shops, service centers, and fabricators are faced with an ever changing product landscape,” said Anibal Sepulveda, the head of marketing for Hypertherm North America. “As a manufacturer specializing in cutting processes and CAD/CAM software for both CNC and robotic processes, we believe we are in a unique position to support businesses as they work to evolve and remain competitive.”
During this year’s show Hypertherm partners will conduct live demonstrations of plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting from more than a dozen booth locations throughout the show while Hypertherm experts in the areas of plasma, waterjet, automation, and CAM software will present a number of presentations as part of show’s official educational program.
