Steven Smith has been named the president of CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies (Mason, OH). He is now responsible for managing daily operations, as well as building a new national distribution network in the United States.
Smith comes to the company from Heartland Machine & Engineering (Dayton, OH) where he spent three years expanding the company’s customer base into new territories throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky. He is experienced in identifying the best manufacturing solutions for different customer needs while at the same time significantly reducing production costs through streamlining workflow, trimming labor and material costs, and lessening risk.

In addition to Okuma and Hardinge CNC machines, Smith has represented Brother, Takisawa, Toyoda, Makino, Doosan, Hermle and Tsugami machine tools in the Greater Cincinnati area. Smith attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton.
