Okuma Hires Sales Engineer
Antoine Johnson is responsible for supporting regional sales and distribution partner Gosiger.

Okuma America Corporation (Charlotte, NC), a world leader in CNC machine tool manufacturing, is pleased to announce that Antoine Johnson has joined the company’s sales team in the role of sales engineer. He is responsible for supporting regional sales and Okuma distribution partner Gosiger.
Johnson previously held positions in sales, service and management. He has several years of experience in the manufacturing industry and extensive working knowledge of assembly and service, project management, engineering and sales.
“We are pleased to have Antoine join us. He has numerous awards for his sales accomplishments and has a real passion for our industry and a desire to make a difference in it. He’ll be working alongside our distributors to educate customers about the innovative technologies and advantages of our machine tools,” says Tim Thiessen, the vice president of sales for Okuma America.
Johnson holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in computer-aided drafting and design from SUNY Dehli Tech and expects to finish his CMTSE (Certified Manufacturing Technology Sales Engineer) certification in March. He will be based in Charlotte.
