The company began during World War II by building the United States’ first hydraulic press brake.

Pacific Press Technologies, Inc. (Mount Carmel, IL) celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2015. The company began during World War II by building the United States’ first hydraulic press brake, a safer and more reliable alternative to mechanical brakes.

Pacific Press Technologies continued to build and improve its product line; they built the first computer-controlled servo-hydraulic press for composite molding and the world’s largest plate shear which was able to cut one and a half inch steel plate.

Today Pacific Press offers a wide range of presses, press brakes and shears to meet customers’ hydraulic metal-forming applications. All machinery is precision-crafted in the U.S. and is supported by a team of Pacific Press experts for the life of the machine.
