The new Phoenix Fiber Laser cutting system from LVD Strippit unites cost efficient and dynamic laser cutting together with laser automation possibilities. Powered by a high efficiency solid-state doped fiber laser source, the fiber laser provides fast, accurate processing of various sheet thicknesses and types.
The TOUCH-L 19 in touch screen control and icon driven user interface make the Phoenix Fiber Laser cutting system from LVD Strippit easy to use and operate by efficiently and effortlessly guiding the user through all necessary man-machine interactions. A part programming and nesting module allows users to import drawings directly into the control, applying cutting technology and nesting sheets at the machine.
The compact Lynx FL from LVD Strippit is a cost efficient entry-level 2 kW fiber laser cutting system that provides dynamic, accurate thin sheet processing of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum, with the added versatility to efficiently process copper and brass at processing speeds up to three times faster than CO2 laser sources. Its integrated shuttle table system allows one table to be loaded while the machine is cutting on the other table. Table change time is only 35 seconds. (first view)

LVD Strippit, Inc. (Akron, NY) has launched the new Phoenix Fiber Laser system that unites cost efficient and dynamic laser cutting together with laser automation possibilities. The Phoenix offers the perfect balance between performance and price. The compact, modern machine design includes a welded steel frame construction that minimizes deformation caused by high acceleration, thus improving overall machine accuracy. Powered by a high efficiency solid-state doped fiber laser source, the fiber laser provides fast, accurate processing of various sheet thicknesses and types. The Phoenix FL features a lightweight, high rigidity beam delivery system to allow for highly dynamic processing.

The Phoenix maximizes uptime with an integrated automatic shuttle table system that allows one table to be loaded while the machine is cutting on the other table. Table change time is only 30 seconds. The TOUCH-L touch screen control and user interface make this laser cutting system easy to use and operate. TOUCH-L employs a 19 in touch screen and icon driven user interface to efficiently and effortlessly guide the user through all necessary man-machine interactions. It also incorporates a part programming and nesting module allowing users to import drawings directly into the control, applying cutting technology and nesting sheets at the machine.

The Phoenix FL features the latest in fiber laser source technology with a wall plug efficiency of up to 30 percent. The virtually maintenance-free fiber laser resonator utilizes the latest fiber laser technology for reliable trouble-free performance. Modular automation options further increase the productivity and throughput of this laser cutting system, which is offered with the option of a Compact Tower (CT-L) and the Flexible Automation for Lasers (FA-L) developed by LVD. CT-L is a compact material warehousing tower with an integrated load / unload system and a shelving unit for storage of raw material and finished parts. FA-L is a system for interchanging finished and unfinished sheets on the table within 40 seconds and includes thickness control and automatic sheet separators.

LVD Strippit has also introduced the Lynx FL, a cost efficient entry-level fiber laser cutting system that offers users the ability to enter the world of fiber laser cutting with the flexibility to process a wide variety of material types and thicknesses all within a modest and cost effective budget. Powered by a high efficiency IPG (2 kW) fiber laser source, Lynx provides dynamic, accurate thin sheet processing of traditional sheet metal materials, such as mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum, with the added versatility to efficiently process metals such as copper and brass. Increased beam absorption of the 1μm wave length laser beam by the material provides processing speeds up to three times faster than CO2 laser sources in thin sheet metal.

A compact design, Lynx maximizes uptime with an integrated shuttle table system that allows one table to be loaded while the machine is cutting on the other table. Table change time is only 35 seconds. This laser cutting system features an integrated Siemens IU CNC control and drive package that guarantees the highest accuracy and repeatability even at high speeds. Its new Precitec “Light-Cutter” guarantees high cutting speed with excellent cutting quality. It incorporates an easy and fast protective glass cartridge change, temperature and constant distance control and a crash-protection system.
