Saar-Hartmetall has added three new hydraulic scarfing systems to their product line: RI-HN 2, RI-HN 1 and RI-HN 017, ideal for ID scarfing of ERW welded heavy gage tube and pipe.

In Booth N-28010, Saar-Hartmetall USA LLC (Covington, KY), a subsidiary of Saar-Hartmetall GmbH (Püttlingen, Germany), has added three new hydraulic scarfing systems to their product line: RI-HN 2, RI-HN 1 and RI-HN 017. The new hydraulically activated scarfing mandrels are equipped with double-wheel pressure carriage systems and cover tube IDs down to 0.669 in. These hydraulic scarfing systems are ideal for ID scarfing of ERW welded heavy gage tube and pipe. In comparison to traditional mechanical scarfing mandrels, the new tools simplify the tool set up, improve tool life and increase production efficiency. The company offers a full line of tube scarfing tools, peeling tools, beveling tools, and a variety of cutting tools used in metal fabrication and the tube and pipe industry. Their sales office and warehouse in Covington, provides products and replacement parts to their North America customers.
