In Booth S-3194, Semyx LLC (Dalton, GA) is proud to announce the immediate availability of its newly added sizes of COBRA® Series waterjet cutting machines. The same functionality and speed of the COBRA waterjet cutting series is now offered in portable, raised tables. As with all machines in this series, the new 240 and 5100H machines are created with linear drive belts that are designed for the highest accuracy and speed possible. In addition, these machines cut using pure water in a precise process that allows the waterjet to be finer than 0.2 mm, creating sharp lines and contours. Combined with a high cutting speed of 0 to 60 m/min, these machines are ideal for textile applications such as carpet and foam and have been used on artificial turf fields for the MLS, NCAA, and NFL.

The 240 and 5100H each offer raised tables which sit on custom designed water tanks, a unique feature that creates a portable solution with the same outstanding results as any of the other COBRA Series machines, which are available as pit installations due to their massive size and material handling capabilities. “These new 240 and 5100H machines are perfect for businesses in temporarily leased buildings,” said Haisar Shehadeh, the director of sales at Semyx. “Due to their portable nature, the machines can be set up, broken down, transported, and set up again without costly modifications to the facilities.” The COBRA waterjet cutting series can be customized in size to fit any shop’s needs.
