JMT Hires Regional Sales Manager

JMT USA (Salt Lake City, UT) hires industry veteran, Ron Backhaus to serve as the Midwestern regional sales manager for its metal fabrication equipment. JMT is best known for its line of high-precision press brakes and plate rolls. “Ron Backhaus is an expert in plate and profile rolling machines. He knows more about variable geometry plate rolls than anyone else in the industry,” says Jared Peterson, the president of JMT. “The knowledge he brings with him will be a great asset for our customers.”

Plate rolls have been Backhaus’ major focus in the metal forming industry since 2004.  Prior to joining the company, he founded Davi North America and served as their president until 2009. During his tenure, he built a team of professionals who worked together to achieve goals and targets that were never before achievable, growing sales in excess of $65 million in three years. Backhaus then started his own company and was the exclusive North American importer of Sertom dishing and flanging machines.
