Heidenhain Corporation (Schaumburg, IL) announces the hiring of David Doyle as their vice president of sales and marketing in North America. With over 25 years of extensive management experience, Doyle joins the company to assume the day-to-day responsibilities of the sales and marketing departments.
Doyle moved from Oregon, where he most recently served as the vice president of the material characterization business unit of Nanometrics, a leading manufacturer of automated metrology solutions, supporting semiconductor industries. Serving other high technology industries in corporate management positions over the years, he originally started his career by earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in chemistry and experimental physics from the National University of Ireland, where he earned double honors.
Heidenhain is the North American subsidiary of Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH (Traunreut, Germany), a leading international manufacturer of precision measurement and control equipment. Their product line includes linear scales, rotary and angular encoders, digital readouts, digital length gages, CNC controls, and machine inspection equipment.
