Both the compact, portable, water-cooled TPS 270i C PULSE and TPS 320i C PULSE power sources from Fronius are suitable for pulse welding, MIG/MAG, TIG-DC and electrode welding, making them ideal solution for mobile use in workshops, factories and on construction sites.

Fronius USA LLC (Portage, IN) has added two new mobile welding power sources to its well-established TPS/i series: the TPS 270i C PULSE and TPS 320i C PULSE with integrated wire-feed unit. Both are designed for welding currents of up to 270 A and 320 A, respectively, combine the outstanding properties of the TPS/i platform in one particularly compact housing, and are also suitable for MIG/MAG, TIG-DC and electrode welding. With their space-saving design, these universal power sources are an ideal solution for mobile use in fabrication shops, metal service centers and on job sites in construction.

The compact TPS 270i C PULSE and TPS 320i C PULSE covers all bases when it comes to performance and flexibility. In addition to the standard pulse welding package, the standard Fronius welding package and the LSC (Low Spatter Control) and PMC (Pulse Multi Control) processes developed for TPS/i are also available as options. Numerous pre-configured characteristics and useful functions, such as SynchroPulse for TIG-style cosmetics, make work a lot easier. Well thought-out details, such as drive rollers uniquely color-coded according to the wire diameter, a viewing window that helps the operator to check quickly how much wire is left, and a straightforward user interface, make it even easier to work with the welding device.

Various equipment options and a comprehensive range of accessories, such as gas or water cooling, a remote control, and a handy PullMig welding torch, allow the operator to adapt the devices quickly and easily to local conditions and individual tasks. Thanks to the Internet capability of the universally-digitalized power sources, the unit’s software can easily be upgraded and updated on-site. These devices are available for all current grid voltages and grid frequencies for use in any country. The TPS 270i C PULSE and TPS 320i C PULSE enable welders to achieve outstanding results in any location, even in difficult conditions, with high repeatability and maximum productivity.
