Citing impressive gains in growth and sales, TigerStop LLC (Vancouver, WA) has promoted Mike Anderson from the role of Southeastern regional sales manager to be the new product manager of saw systems. Kevin Trowell, formerly with Beisse America, Inc., will be the company’s new Southeastern regional sales manager.
“Our growth is at an all-time high,” says Spencer Dick, the founder and chief executive officer of TigerStop. “As more and more manufacturers are incorporating our add-on automation solutions and automated saw systems for increasing their efficiency and profitability, we have decided to further increase our customer service level and sales efficiency as well.”
Anderson began work at the company in 2013 and as the SE regional sales manager he was able to significantly grow sales and customer support in that region. Recognized for his many years of industry experience and expertise in saw systems and integrations, Anderson was promoted to his new position and has been charged with increasing growth in that product segment globally.
Trowell brings several years of experience as a distributor and factory sales representative, and has been a proven leader in technical sales. Based in Florida, he will manage all direct and distributor sales in the Southeast.
TigerStop was founded in 1994 by Dick. As the owner of a thriving manufacturing business, he became frustrated with the inherent inefficiencies of his machine operators stopping to reset and recalibrate whenever they were cutting material to various lengths. He also noticed that regardless of how carefully material was measured, the end results were always of slightly different dimensions. So he founded TigerStop to automate the cutting process so that exact and accurate parts, whether wood, metal or plastic, would result each and every time.
TigerStop is a global leader in automated stop/gauge and pusher systems under the TigerStop and SawGear brand names. Headquartered in the state of Washington, the company is a U.S. manufacturer of products for the cabinet, furniture, construction, fenestration, electronics, plastics and metalworking industries. They have a second manufacturing and distribution facility in Wierden, Netherlands, a distribution network spanning six continents, and product support in five languages. Their products easily integrate with existing equipment to help optimize and improve the accuracy of all lineal cutting processes.
