Fives Cincinnati Names New President
Steve Thiry now leads both Fives Cincinnati and their Global Services division.

As the new president of Fives Cincinnati, he brings over 30 years of international and domestic manufacturing experience, and most recently served as chief executive officer of Fives Landis Ltd, in the UK.
Steve Thiry has been named president of Fives Cincinnati (Hebron, KY) and its Global Services division. He brings over 30 years of international and domestic manufacturing experience, and most recently served as chief executive officer of Fives Landis Ltd. in the UK.

Thiry previously served as the director of business development at The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), where provided management consulting to American manufacturers seeking to expand into international markets. He established member support services in Eastern Europe and India and expanded existing services in China. His experience also includes serving as the director of market analysis and integration at Crane Co., an American industrial products company, where he led business acquisition and integration of multiple international and domestic companies and their global pump businesses.
He earlier served as the vice president for Europe at Ingersoll Rand, leading business in Western Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, and the CIS. As the general manager of their Asia Pacific business, he established new joint venture companies in China and India while leading existing operations in Australia, Japan, and Korea. Thiry earned his undergraduate degree in from St. Norbert College and received his Master’s degree in Business from Rutgers University. He will be based at Fives Cincinnati in Hebron and plans to relocate to the Cincinnati, OH, area.
