TRUMPF Celebrates 20 Years in North American Laser Market

They also unveil their new TruPrint 1000 3D metal printing system at an open house event.

Twenty years ago, the Laser Technology Center of TRUMPF Inc. opened its doors its doors in Plymouth, MI, with just a few employees. Today, with over 100 employees and more than 1,500 customers, the company continues to expand, supporting the OEM laser and multi-axis systems market in North America and contributing to TRUMPF’s 11,000 employee, $3 billion global business.

The company commemorated this significant milestone by hosting a celebratory evening and open house event at the Laser Technology Center in Plymouth on June 7, featuring a special keynote speech, machine demonstrations, technical discussions, and refreshments. They also unveiled the TruPrint 1000, their brand new 3D metal printing system that will not be formally introduced until IMTS.
