Economic Fiber Laser Cutting System for Small Shops

The Eagle eSmart from Power-Tech is ideal for small shops that want to bring fiber laser cutting capabilities in-house to eliminate outsourcing.

Posted: July 2, 2016

The Eagle eSmart laser cutting system comes in two variants: a Model 1225 with an area of machining axis 2,560 mm, 1,290 Y-axis and Z-axis 100 mm; and a Model 1530 with a machining area X-axis of 3,060 mm, Y-axis of 1,540 mm and Z-axis of 100 mm. These cutting systems achieve cutting speeds of 120 m/min and 2G acceleration. eSmart models are available with a laser fiber with a power of 1 kW to 4 kW. Tracking the laser beam is carried out using fault-free fiber. The new cutter is equipped with a body made of composite material, linear motors on all axes and pallet changer.

Engineers at Power-Tech (Wałcz, Poland), a manufacturer of laser cutting machines, have developed a new series of laser cutters called Eagle eSmart as an economical option for smaller production, affordable and economic. This machine compliments their Eagle iNspire and Eagle eVision laser cutters. The iNspire series is technologically advanced with high cutting performance. The eVision series is a universal cutter for diversified production. The new eSmart is developed for less demanding production in shops that previously used the services of other companies and would like to bring economic laser cutting back in-house for cutting short or long series and cutting strikingly individual parts for their own needs.

The eSmart cutting systems are offered in two variants: a Model 1225 with an area of machining axis 2,560 mm, 1,290 Y-axis and Z-axis 100 mm; and a Model 1530 with a machining area X-axis of 3,060 mm, Y-axis of 1,540 mm and Z-axis of 100 mm. Tracking the laser beam is carried out using fault-free fiber. The new cutter is equipped with a body made of composite material, linear motors on all axes and pallet changer.

Eagle eSmart is an economical solution for shops that need a trouble-free, easy to use machine. Its unquestionable advantage is an ergonomic design that allows the system to be installed in small manufacturing plants. The laser cutting systems includes the following specifications:
