The 190,462 sq ft aluminum remelt facility expansion at Service Center Metals (SCM; Prince George, VA), an aluminum extrusion manufacturer located in the SouthPoint Business Park, will include an investment in additional equipment and expansion of their current workforce. “This is a strategic move that will expand key operations and enable further growth,” said Scott Kelley, the chief executive of SCM.
“Our county is excited about their continuous growth in our community,” noted William Robertson, the chairman of Prince George County. “This is the second major expansion by them in three years. Hiring has already begun for the 35 new jobs required at this facility, which will soon be fully operational.”
