The TAB Wrapper Tornado line of orbital stretch-wrapping machines from TAB Industries, LLC (Reading, PA) allows pipes and other long products to be fed through the wrapping machinery from a chain, belt, roller or other type of conveyor. Featuring a design that keeps the wrapping ring stationary while the film is wrapped around a horizontal axis, the Wrapper Tornado line excels in packaging long doors, beams, bars, pipes, rods and channels and can continuously wrap up to an infinite length (theoretically). Whether loads are loose, palletized or in cartons, in uniform or various sizes and/or in irregular shapes, the Wrapper Tornado line, when positioned in or at the end of a conveyor line, eliminates the need to transfer products from a conveyor for staging or stretch-wrapping while reducing the risk of product damage due to handling and saving time and labor.
Ideal for protecting pipes and other long products from warehousing through delivery, the Wrapper Tornado line wraps plastic stretch film 360 deg around and under an entire load in one minute or less – including the pallet, if desired – to create a single, unitized, secure load that is safe from the elements and stays intact without shifting. Available in three standard models and in custom sizes, the Wrapper Tornado line is manufactured in Reading and ships fully assembled with a full warranty.
