Fastems Names KUKA Robots a Premium Supplier

Fastems Oy Ab (Tampere, Finland), a leading manufacturer of factory automation systems, has designated KUKA Roboter GmbH (Augsburg, Germany) as one of their premium suppliers for robots. “We are happy to have them as a strong and reliable partner to fulfill our customers’ wishes to be equipped with KUKA robots. This helps us market our ability to provide robot-based automation solutions for customers in machinery construction, aviation and aerospace, as well as metalworking manufacturers and their suppliers,” said Markku Bollmann, the vice president of marketing and sales for Fastems.
Fastems is a supplier of flexible manufacturing systems, robotic-based automation, production control software, gantry and interlinking systems and a wide range of industrial services. Headquartered in Tampere, with manufacturing facilities in both Finland and Germany, and with sales and service operations globally, the company realizes a turnover of 70 million euros annually and employs 380 people.
