AIDA-America Corporation (Dayton, OH) was pleased to welcome two groups of visitors as part of MFG Day 2016. The press manufacturer hosted a group of recruitment and placement professionals from local universities and career agencies, providing them with an understanding of the types of manufacturing and administration disciplines represented and the employment opportunities available. A second group, Project Lead the Way, a pre-engineering program at the local Centerville High School, also participated in the event.
Visitors had the opportunity to tour the 180,000 sq ft modern and advanced stamping press manufacturing facility, reinforcing one of MFG Day’s goals of showcasing the United States manufacturing industry as a vital part of the economy and a viable and rewarding choice for future members of the labor force.
