Booths N-3329, N-3733: The ArcReach Stick/TIG Remote from Miller Electric allows welding operators to change stick/TIG weld settings at the weld joint to reduce downtime. No more unnecessary trips to the power source improves safety. It eliminates the need to settle for less-than-optimal welding parameters to improve weld quality and allows for more arc-on time to increase productivity.
Booths N-3329, N-3733: The compact, lightweight and versatile Multimatic 215 multi-process welder from Miller Electric delivers all-in-one multi-process capabilities for MIG, flux-cored, DC TIG and DC stick welding and can weld up to 3/8 in thick mild steel in a single pass. It sets up easily for multiple materials and weld processes using a color LCD interface and Auto-Set Elite to fine-tune weld settings.

In Booths N-3329 and N-3733, Miller Electric Mfg. Co. (Appleton, WI) will showcase their latest welding and safety equipment for the manufacturing, fabrication and construction industries. Products on display and being demonstrated have been selected for their ability to improve productivity, quality, and increase profits and will include new power sources, welding automation solutions, Welding Intelligence™ solutions and more. Miller will host live welding demonstrations that provide visitors with hand-on experience with the equipment. These demonstrations will be paired with solutions from their recommended partners: Hobart filler metals, Bernard semi-automatic MIG guns, and Tregaskiss robotic MIG guns. Representatives will be available to answer product and welding technology questions.

Among the many new product innovations on display at the show will be the ArcReach™ Stick/TIG Remote for use with the XMT® 350 CC/CV, XMT 450 CC/CV and Dimension™ 650 models that are ArcReach compatible. This new remote allows welding operators to change stick/TIG weld settings at the weld joint, which reduces downtime and improves safety – no more unnecessary trips to the power source. The remote also eliminates the need to settle for less-than-optimal welding parameters to improve weld quality and it allows for more arc-on time to increase productivity.

Also on display is the Multimatic™ 215 multiprocess welder that delivers all-in-one multi-process capabilities for MIG, flux-cored, DC TIG and DC stick welding. This compact machine weighs just 38 lb and is capable of welding up to 3/8 in thick mild steel in a single pass. In addition to its small footprint, this versatile machine can be easily set up for multiple materials and weld processes using the color LCD interface, featuring Auto-Set™ Elite. Weld settings can be fine-tuned further while in Auto-Set mode.

Other equipment on display includes:

  • Big Blue® 600 Air Pak welder/generator: This 600 amp machine features a powerful EPA Tier 4 Final–compliant Deutz engine rated at 65.7 hp that is ideal for industrial applications including rail, mining, construction and fabrication. It provides the reliability and versatility needed for field-based work that requires single-operator power for welding, carbon arc gouging, auxiliary power, or running an air compressor to perform critical repair and maintenance functions.
  • Split Leather Jacket: Made from premium pig split leather and sewn entirely with Kevlar thread to add structural durability at each seam, the new jacket features an extended rear tail for additional protection. A higher stand-up collar provides improved neck coverage, while strategically-placed, expandable leather adds mobility and a mesh lining improves comfort.
  • 20 Series Regulator: This rugged, heavy-duty industrial regulator provides efficient and accurate regulation, and includes the exclusive self-centering flowball and Sure Seat™ filtered seat technology for optimum performance and extended product life. Filtered seats prevent contamination from entering the seating area, reducing repair costs and downtime and minimizing the opportunity for CO2 freeze-up.
