Okuma Earns ISO Certification
They are the first CNC machine tool builder to be ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Okuma America Corporation (Charlotte, NC) has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification by Preferred Registrar Group, Inc. (PRG; Madison Heights, MI), making them the first and currently the only CNC machine tool builder to earn the latest International Organization for Standardization (ISO; Geneva, Switzerland) certification.
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, motivation and implication of top management, process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits. By implementing these ISO standards, Okuma reduces operating costs by minimizing waste and errors through improved systems and processes. It also gives them the ability to work with various markets to ensure the compatibility of products and services.
