In Booth 5526, LENOX® (East Longmeadow, MA) displays their VERSA PRO™ carbide tipped blade for general purpose cutting that leverages a proprietary carbide tip and HONEX™ technology in order to deliver long blade life across a variety of metals and cutting applications. “Our customers are cutting a variety of materials on a wide range of saws. They require a blade that is versatile enough to handle a wide variety of cutting applications while offering long blade life,” said Daniel Fernandes, the brand manager. “This new VERSA PRO carbide blade provides a solution for users looking to increase productivity when cutting a range of metals including carbon steels, alloys, tool steel, stainless, and more.”
The new carbide grade tip has increased toughness to retain a sharp cutting edge. The tips feature HONEX technology, a process that pre-hones the cutting edge in order to minimize chipping and help eliminate the break-in process. VERSA PRO blades are designed to cut a wide range of metals allowing users the versatility needed to keep cutting without stopping for frequent blade changes. Other features that enhance performance include:
- Multi-chip tooth design balances chip load and reduces cutting forces.
- A moderately aggressive rake angle for easy penetration and balanced wear.
- Precision ground carbide tips have clean, sharp edges that deliver smooth parts and quiet cutting.
The VERSA PRO blade is available at industrial distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada in a wide range of blade widths to fit the majority of carbide friendly band saws.
