The Dual Expanded Two-Station RXS-400 System from The Guyson Corporation of U.S.A. (Saratoga Springs, NY) is designed for grit blasting medical implant devices in a small footprint with simultaneous dual operation. Its front enclosure serves as a device that controls media egress by capturing and returning any dust and residual media back to the machine hopper. It aids in noise reduction by surrounding the sliding vertical doors through which the parts enter and exit the blast chamber. Incorporated is a twin spindle feature that allows for two-part flow. A Model 75/12 Cyclone is used for reclamation. The suction of the reclaim system constantly draws all spent and reusable media and the air from the finishing chamber. Once in the Cyclone body, the reusable media is centrifugally separated from the fractured media and debris, which is removed from the system by the Dust Collector.
The reusable media remains in the system and is recirculated through the gun. To balance the reclaim system and ensure negative pressure in the finishing enclosure, a continuous cleaning a D-1000 dust collection unit is used to ensure efficient operation and supply users with visual indication to balance the reclaim system. Proper negative pressure is critical when media/dust egress is not allowed.
Guyson also offers a custom grab bar peening machine for the commercial restroom industry. Its cabinet is equipped with 100 in linear actuator with encoder to blast parts up to 105 in. The part enters the cabinet and is rotated at high velocity while four pressure nozzles blast the part to create a selective etch. The reclaim is equipped with a 300/28 cyclone separator with 6.5 cu ft pressure media delivery. The cyclone reclamator provides media separation, consent downward flow of shop air ensuring good visibility and reduces the possibility of particle contamination. To balance the reclaim and ensure negative pressure in the finishing enclosure, a D-2000 dust collection system was selected.
