Deslag Line for Metal Service Centers
The Deslag Line from LISSMAC uses Power Pin Belts on top and bottom that chip away the slag formed from plasma or oxy-fuel cutting systems, then two grinding belts on the top and bottom complete a final grind of any slag left on the part, and two sand block belts on the top and bottom round the edges on the part.

In Booth A4842, LISSMAC Corporation (Waterford, NY) will be showcasing their Deslag Line for chipping, grinding, and edge rounding heavy plate up to 4.75 in. This system has gained popularity for metal service centers. The line will consist of two machines and a motorized conveyor. The D2 1500 that has Power Pin Belts on the top and bottom of the machine that will chip away the slag formed from plasma or oxy-fuel cutting systems. When the part is finished in the D2 1500, a motorized conveyor will transfer the part to the G2S2 1500, which is equipped with four belts on the top and bottom of the machine. The first two belts on the top and bottom are grinding belts that complete a final grind of any slag left on the part. The second set of belts on the top and bottom are sand block belts to round edges on the part.
