Engineered Industrial Cabinets for Visual Management, Organized Space, Increased Process Efficiency

Personalized Strong Hold Plus industrial cabinets from Strong Hold Products are much more finished systems that reflect the ways how shops ultimately use them.

Booth A3143: Different colored Strong Hold Plus industrial cabinets from Strong Hold Products allow easy access where parts or tools are stored and eliminate wasted minutes searching through identical cabinets. They also use shelf dividers and labels, ventilated or Clearview doors, laser burn lettering for labeling, integrated power strip, shelf bins, Bluetooth-enabled padlocks and magnetic tool attachments, shelves, paper towel and glove dispensers for modular flexibility that increases efficiency up to 20 percent.

In Booth A3143, Strong Hold® Products (Louisville, KY) showcases a new product line consisting of their most popular options and modifications consolidated into Strong Hold Plus™ industrial cabinets that are much more finished systems in terms of how shops ultimately use them, and the method in which users can further personalize them is more streamlined. These industrial cabinets include the same standout features of 12 ga steel, all-welded, wrap-around bodies, heavy duty leaf hinges and fully assembled construction, in addition to a number of Plus line specific features that include, but are not limited to:

  • Galvanized shelves that increase light reflectivity within the cabinet, making everything naturally brighter.
  • Shelf dividers and magnetic shelf labels that give everything a place and keeps everything in its place.
  • An exterior label that allows everyone to quickly identify the purpose of the cabinet.
  • A dry-erase board that gives users the ability to keep track of contents using KANBAN methods or simply by keeping track of daily notes.
  • A standard black cabinet that can be upgraded at no additional cost or lead time to one of six other colors.

The Strong Hold Plus industrial cabinet color upgrade program lends itself to more than simple aesthetics. Visual management is becoming an increasingly popular methodology to organize industrial spaces while increasing process efficiencies. Coloring cabinets in different colors based on function allows users to easily access where parts or tools are stored and eliminates the need to waste time searching through identical cabinets minutes at a time. The gains may seem inconsequential, but in fact the contrary is true. For example, saving one minute on a six-minute process enables you to complete 12 processes, whereas before that you could only complete ten of these processes in one hour. In an eight-hour workday, that’s a gain of 16 more processes, a whopping 20 percent increase in efficiency.

Other standard features, such as the shelf dividers and labels, are provided with this same sort of increase in efficiency in mind. The Strong Hold Plus industrial cabinet line was designed specifically for these kinds of improvements to eliminate the need for further modification at the user’s site. This line is available with an assortment of options, including ventilated or Clearview doors, laser burn lettering for labeling cabinets, integrated power strip, shelf bins, Bluetooth®-enabled padlocks, and multiple magnetic tool attachments, shelves, paper towel and glove dispensers, all geared toward increasing the modular flexibility of the cabinets.
