GF Machining Solutions (Lincolnshire, IL) named Ellison Technologies, Inc. (Indianapolis, IN) as their new distributor to serve customers in Indiana. With this agreement, Ellison will provide manufacturers throughout the industrial state with a full array of EDM, milling, laser texturing, additive, micro-machining and 3R Automation systems from GF Machining Solutions, as well as a wide variety of machine tool consumables.
Ellison Technologies was selected based on their proven abilities to provide extensive service and support to users, as well as to offer more comprehensive coverage in the Indiana market. Customers in the automotive, aerospace, medical, die-mold and other industries will benefit from easier access to demonstration centers and larger sales and support teams that can work in conjunction with GF Machining Solutions to provide timely front-line service and application support on equipment.
The partnership between these two companies continues to grow as they work together to help manufacturers address many of today’s toughest manufacturing challenges. Earlier this year, GF Machining Solutions named Ellison as their distributor to serve customers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in addition to Ellison’s GF Machining Solutions’ coverage of the West Coast. “We are very happy that our partnership with them has expanded to include Indiana,” explained Scott Fosdick, the president of GF Machining Solutions. “As one of the largest machine tool distributors in North America with an office centrally located in Indianapolis, they are well positioned to help us deliver the highest level of service and support to our Hoosier customers throughout the entire life cycle of their machine tools.”
“Their high speed milling, EDM and laser machine systems are excellent complements to our product offerings,” said Graham Hooper, the president and chief executive officer of Ellison Technologies. “This growing partnership creates many opportunities for us to provide the advanced technologies our customers need to make them become more globally competitive.” This partnership between the two companies in Indiana became effective on September 1, 2017.
